Our program

Our NCLEX preparation program 48-week program is broken down into two 24-week courses – NCLEX Basic and NCLEX Advanced. Your journey begins by taking an English leveling exam. This ensure that you are placed in the most appropriate class for your needs as an English Learner. Your English level will determine which class you are in, A1-A2 English Level are placed in NCLEX Basic, while B1 and above are placed in NCLEX Advanced. Once completed, you will be ready to take your NCLEX-RN Exam.

Register for Nash Institute Program

Attend an informational meeting about our program or be registered through a partnering organization

STEP 2

Take the English Leveling Exam

Take the FREE English leveling exam through our partner, BSR Idiomas. This determines your English level and course placement

STEP 3
24-48 weeks

Course placement

You will be placed in either the NCLEX Basic or NCLEX Advanced course, depending on your English level. Each course is 24 weeks. To complete both will take you 48 weeks.

STEP 4

NCLEX Readiness Assessment

Once you have completed the NCLEX Advanced course, you will meet with your coach to determine your readiness to take the NCLEX exam. If approved, you can schedule your NCLEX-RN exam.

STEP 5

Take the NCLEX-RN Exam

Once readiness for the exam is approved, you will sign up to take the NCLEX-RN exam. Schedule your exam date and take the exam!

Our Classes

NCLEX Basic (A1-A2)

NCLEX Basic is your BEGINNER English course. In this 24-week course, we focus on supporting your development of medical English and foundational nursing topics. We do this through:

  • Working with BSR Idiomas to improve your English
  • Live class to improve medical English and foundational nursing skills
  • Extra videos, exercises, and activities on our site to help support your learning
  • Recorded live classes to rewatch

All classes are taught in your native language (Spanish or Portugues).

Classes cover a range of topics including medical terminology and vocabulary, acronyms, names of diagnostic tests and equipment, growth and development, and other foundational nursing topics.

NCLEX Advanced (B1 and Above)

NCLEX Advanced is your ADVANCED English and NCLEX preparatory course. In this 24-week course, we provide you with a thorough review of NCLEX topics with an extra emphasis on areas of known difficulty for International Nurses. We simultaneously improve your English and prepare you for the NCLEX through:

  • Working with BSR Idiomas to improve your English as B1 and B2 students and above
  • Live class review NCLEX content and English
  • Class resources, Archer Review and Saunders Comprehensive Review for the NCLEX-RN Examination, which help reinforce information and provide you with practice questions
  • One-on-one coaching to provide individualized support throughout the process
  • Extra videos, exercises, and activities on our site to help support your learning
  • Recorded live classes to rewatch
